This app may be demotivating when the kids don't master multiplication well.
Multiplication Genius is an app that trains multiplication. In the app you can see the times tables up to 19. Furthermore, there is a training and test mode. In the training mode you can choose, if you want to practice the times tables up to 9, 12, or 19 and which tables you want to practice. Then a question is asked, and there are four possible answers. You get a certain amount of time to answer. If the question is not answered within this time, it will count as a wrong answer. If you answer immediately you get a "perfect" (although this is almost impossible as you don't even have the time to read the question and all possible answers). If you answer within a reasonable amount of time then you get a "great", if you need more time you get a "good", if you provide the wrong answer you get an "oops". In the test mode you can also choose the level of difficulty by choosing a times table up to 9, 12, or 19. The same assessment scheme as in the practice mode applies, but every answer will be evaluated with points. This way kids can try to beat their own high score or try to beat others over the game center. The disadvantage in the game is, that under information there are Japanese letters, so we don't know if these are the instructions or what it is supposed to be. You can switch the sound on or off, but cannot lower the sound.
